Proof Approval Policy

Before production begins, customers may be asked to review and approve a proof. This step helps confirm layout, text, placement, and general file setup before printing.

What Proof Approval Means

Proof approval is the final review step before your order moves into production. When a proof is requested or required for your job, we will send you a digital proof (usually a PDF) so you can confirm that everything looks correct.

By approving your proof, you confirm that the layout, text, image placement, sizing, and general file setup are ready for print. Production will not begin until we receive your approval on the proof when one is provided.

What Customers Should Check Before Approving

Before you approve your proof, please carefully review every detail, including:

  • Spelling and grammar
  • Names, phone numbers, emails, and web addresses
  • Layout and overall design
  • Image placement and cropping
  • Sizing of text and images
  • Fold, cut, and trim orientation
  • General artwork accuracy

Taking time to review your proof now helps prevent delays, reprints, and extra costs later.

Responsibility After Approval

Once a proof is approved, the customer accepts full responsibility for:

  • Spelling
  • Grammar
  • Layout
  • Image placement
  • Sizing
  • Fold/cut orientation
  • General artwork accuracy

If an error is found after approval and the job has already entered production, any reprints or corrections may result in additional charges.

When Turnaround Begins

Turnaround time does not begin until:

  • Your proof (when required or requested) is approved, and
  • Payment and print-ready files are received and complete.

If your order is on hold waiting for proof approval, production and turnaround will start only after we receive your approval.

Color Accuracy Notice

Digital/PDF proofs are provided to review layout, text, positioning, bleed, and general file setup. They are not a guaranteed color match to the final printed piece. If color accuracy is critical for your project, please request a hard copy or color proof when available. This allows you to see a closer representation of how colors will print before full production.

Changes After Approval

Changes requested after a proof has been approved may:

  • Delay production and delivery
  • Require new or revised files
  • Incur additional charges

If your order is placed on hold for proof approval, production will resume only after we receive your updated approval.

Need Help Before Approving?

If you are unsure about any part of your proof, please contact us before approving so we can help review your order. Our team is happy to answer questions, clarify details, or suggest adjustments to help you get the best possible result from your print project.
